Staff Spotlight: This week, we would like to acknowledge Mr. Hunter Gillen. Hunter is not only our Chemistry teacher but also facilitates a weekly mentoring and devotion group during lunch at NCHS. Hunter also periodically delivers messages as a Chapel speaker. His message today was drawn from Hebrews Chapter 12, verses 1 and 2, which encourages us to persevere in our spiritual journey, shedding obstacles and sin while focusing on Jesus. We extend our gratitude to Hunter for his dedication to our students at NCHS and his ongoing support.
Yesterday, Donny Powell, a Bible class instructor at NCHS, delivered the Chapel message, focusing on fasting and the power of prayer. We also acknowledged students who earned Positive Behavior Awards for January and our Student of the Month award. Olivia Larson was selected as Student of the Month by Lora Shipley and Dr. Lawrence Jaske for demonstrating nobility.
