Congratulations to Madeline Durham, a junior at NCHS, on winning this year's Veterans Voice for Democracy Rhetorical Essay Contest. The award was presented to her on Sunday, December 7, at the Kirksville VFW Post. Madeline will advance to the state level with her essay. Congratulations, Madeline! We are extremely proud of you!
This week, our Chapel speaker was Pastor Ralph Wheeler from Church of God Holiness. He presented a message rooted in John Chapter 1 verse 14 and Luke Chapter 2. Pastor Ralph shed light on the significance of Jesus' birth and encouraged us to remain centered on Him. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of hope. We appreciate Pastor Ralph's thought-provoking message, which resonates deeply as we approach the holiday season.
