Today, Russell Morrow, a recruiter from Heartland Christian College in Bethel, Missouri, joined us as our guest speaker at Chapel. Russell shared a wealth of information about the college and presented a message inspired by Philippians Chapter 4, verses 6 and 7. This passage instructs believers to replace anxiety with prayer, resulting in peace. Russell offered practical illustrations of common anxiety triggers and demonstrated how prayer can be used to overcome them. Heartland Christian College is a two-year institution that offers associate's degrees in Biblical Studies with specializations in Missions, Education, Worship Arts, and Interdisciplinary Studies, with a semester tuition fee of $1925. We are grateful to Russell for his inspiring message and for sharing information about Heartland Christian College.
Staff Spotlight: This week, we are pleased to recognize Becka and Brendan Schloss for their outstanding contributions. Becka serves as a part-time Math teacher and mentors our female students on a weekly basis during lunch. Brendan volunteers his time to mentor our male students once a week during lunch.
